What enamorao is

enamorao writes a letter that reads as handwritten. You choose how it should look, an assistant helps you find the words if you want it to, and the letter is delivered as a link the other person opens without installing anything. It works in Spanish and in English.

Using enamorao means agreeing to what is on this page. If you do not, please do not use it.

Your account and the sign-in code

There is no password. You sign in with a one-time code, sent either to your email address or as a text message to your phone number, and entering it is what proves the account is yours.

Keep access to whichever address or number you sign in with. Anyone who can read the code can reach the account.

An account reached by an email address and one reached by a phone number are separate accounts until you link them yourself.

Give an address or a number that is yours to use.

An account is for one person. Do not hand it on or share it.

Text messages

If you sign in with your phone number, enamorao sends you a text message carrying a one-time code. That is the only thing your number is used for:

One message per sign-in, sent because you asked to sign in.

No marketing, no promotions and no newsletters are ever sent to your number.

Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out, and HELP for help.

We will not share or sell your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

Opting out ends the phone sign-in channel for that number. Signing in with an email address stays available.

Credits and payments

One credit is one delivered letter. Writing, redrafting and previewing are free and unlimited: the credit is spent at the moment your letter link is made.

A new account is granted one credit, so your first letter costs nothing.

Further credits are bought in packs. Payment runs through Stripe: your card is entered with Stripe and stays with Stripe.

Credits never expire. They stay in your account until you use them, however long that takes.

Credits are not money. They cannot be moved to another account or cashed out.

Prices can change, and a change never touches credits you already hold.

For anything else about a payment, a refund included, write to contact@laberintio.im and we will sort it out with you.

The letter you send

Whoever opens your link reads the letter with no account and nothing to install, so anyone holding the link can read it. Pass it only to the person it is for; enamorao never sends it for you.

What you write is yours. enamorao claims no ownership of your letters, and holds them only to show them to you and to serve the link you send.

The assistant offers a draft, not a finished letter. What it suggests is yours to accept, rewrite or throw away, and the last word is always yours.

Your own handwriting

Having your own hand built is free and part of any account. You copy a short text onto a plain sheet, photograph it, and your handwriting is built from that photo; if a line cannot be read you are told which one to write out again.

Photograph your own handwriting and nobody else’s. Do not send a sheet written by another person, or one copied from a typeface you have no right to use.

What you may not do

Use enamorao for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten or deceive anyone.

Write a letter that pretends to come from someone else.

Break, overload or work around the service, its limits or its sign-in, or automate your way through it in bulk.

Resell the service or your credits.

We may suspend or close an account being used for any of that, or in a way that puts the service or other people at risk.

Ending it

You can stop using enamorao whenever you like. To have your account and everything held under it removed, write to contact@laberintio.im and we will do it for you; if you still hold credits, say so and we will sort it out with you.

What we can and cannot promise

enamorao is provided as it is. We look after it and we want it to work, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable or that it will suit every purpose you have in mind.

A handwriting style is a rendering, not a signature. A letter written in one is not a signed document, so do not use enamorao for anything that needs a signature to be binding.

Access to our storage is restricted and everything travels over encrypted connections, but no system anywhere is perfect and absolute security is not something anyone can promise.

Changes to this page

This page may change now and then. The date above says when it last did. Carrying on using enamorao after a change means the new page applies.
